I went to Genting Highlands last week from 3 - 6 October!
Caution: Long Post!

The weather was awesome!
I wish we had that type of weather in Sunny Singapore, but unfortunately, wishing so much is futile.
It's never gonna happen!
I went with my secondary school friends, Weihong, Alvina and Yanying :)
I paid $98 for 3D2N incl. travel, accommodation and 2 breakfast buffets. We wanted to stay longer, so we paid $110 more (divided by the 4 of us) to extend our 2 rooms by another night!
So, per person we added $27.50 to $98 = $125.50 for 4D3N Genting stay at First World Hotel!
Quite affordable, it was slightly more expensive as we booked via an agency and not online.
We willingly paid the extra as the coach would drop us off at Compass Point, and not the usual far places like Golden Mile Complex etc.
We had a stop at Yong Peng rest stop before going up the hill!
At about 12pm, we hit a snag. Literally.
Our coach blew out a tyre!
So, we had to wait a while for a replacement coach.

Luckily, we were only delayed for 15 minutes.
And it was a better bus that they gave us!
The seats had built in massages! Whoo!

Sadly, we only discovered this function 5 minutes before we alighted from the bus. LOL!
We stopped at Starbucks while waiting to check in!
We waited a whole hour and some change. Haha.

Let me put it this way. Our number was 509, and the number at that point in time was 398.
Yeah.
So we camped at Starbucks and leeched their wifi for the 4 days!

This is the first photo we took in Genting ^^
So needless to say we spent a lot, lol.
Every day Starbucks + food!
Genting is affordable compared to Singapore but compared to the rest of Malaysia, they're expensive!
And I really hate the fact that they don't include all their taxes in the prices stated. grr.

It wouldn't hurt them to add it beforehand just like in Singapore!
So after we checked in our hotel on the 1st day, we had time to kill, so after settling in, we went to catch a movie!

Johnny English!
The movie was hilarious but we were all tired and we slept in the very comfy theatre! LOL!
After the movie we headed to Marrybrown's to eat their... kids meal lol!
We couldn't decide what to eat!
And after dinner, we went for fish spa located @ First World Plaza!

Okay so this is a false image I didn't actually have that expression...
I was calm, cool and collected. HAHA!I've been to a fish spa before, but my dear friend Yanying hasn't been.
She maintained the expression on her face for the whole 15 mins, which was as though she was about to give birth.
HAHA, you can visualise it on your own.
Anyway after the fish spa we were exhausted from laughing at Yanying so we went back to Starbucks, chilled somemore and then headed back to the hotel to sleep!
DAY 2
We woke up bright and early to head for the buffet breakfast.
So early, that we were done before the Outdoor Theme Park opened! HAHA
It operates from 10am - 7pm, just FYI.
We were done at 9.30am, so we headed to the ticketing booths and bought 2 days worth of all park tickets!
it was 90+RM, I can't remember clearly.
I do remember that it was around S$38 though, for 2 days worth of fun!
Super worth it! Haha!
We managed a lot of rides, including the Go Karts, Corkscrew, and Bumper Boats lol.

The swings were extremely fun! (and cold) lol!

See! Wrapped warmly in my Cotton On S$10 trench coat haha!
I loaned my Zara jacket to my friend Weihong cos I was afraid that she'd catch a cold, her hoodie was quite thin.
And on the 3rd day, I loaned Alvina my trench coat lol.
I'm the wardrobe of the trip haha!
We had dinner at the food court and lunch at *oh man I can't remember where! dammit!*
Anyway then we concluded the day with bumper cars lol!
Day 3 was the same, except that we skipped the buffet breakfast and had macs instead haha!
They charged me RM1 for hotcake syrup! gr.
