Movie Poster
Spacesg was invited to the preview of the new movie, 21 Jump Street!
As a DJ, I was invited to go! Whoopee!
This movie is rated M18, so y'all who aren't old enough... find another way HAHA.
Okay I'm not condoning anything, (Just putting it out there)
But this movie, is, AWESOME. (Note the use of so many commas!)
Haha.
It was really a laugh a minute for this 109 min film. I could not stop laughing.
I actually watched the interview of Jonah Hill with Ellen Degeneres waaaay before even the promotional posters were put up in Singapore, haha.
And Jonah Hill was so charismatic!
So when I heard the movie, "21 Jump Street", I found the title vaguely familiar.
But I couldn't put my finger on it til I saw the promotional poster.
Then I was all, YAY IT'S GONNA BE FUNNY!
Anyway,
SPOILER ALERT
I was surprised at the opening scenes because it's almost exactly like their promotional trailer.
But it was still entertaining, because the film itself has more meat to it.
The film is seriously a bundle of laughs.
The Johnny Depp cameo at the end was surprising!
There was this girl in the theater who shrieked very loudly. Haha!
There was this girl in the theater who shrieked very loudly. Haha!
(Jody says it's her. okay it's her! Haha)
Channing Tatum's acting in this movie was brilliant.
I totally bought his 'dumb blonde' stereotype.
And his BODY! arghhhhhhhhh
There's this part where his character doesn't know the revised Miranda.
And his supervisor's face was like

And transferred them to an undercover operation on 21 Jump Street.
At a building called... Aroma of Christ church.
Hilarious.
Esther wasn't amused at first. (Esther is a devout Christian)
But after the whole theater laughed, she saw the funny in it and laughed OUT loud HAHA.
I shall not spoil it any further for you people...
The movie will open in Singapore on 10 MAY 2012.
My rating for it as a comedy... 4.5/5!
It is that funny!
I will recommend it to students, especially because if you are extremely stressed out.
Because it's 109 mins of pure mindless entertainment and laughter.
Enjoy!
x
Kayleen
