World Skills Day 1!

World Skills Logos! Photos that I took at the competition sites :)

Day one of World Skills has finally arrived! Hehe. 

We dragged our butts out of our nice comfy beds and made it to the Opening ceremony.

This is the stage

We were seated in the media area, yay! This meant that we were nearer to the stage and therefore, nicer photos!
There were banners from the different schools participating and it looked great!

The opening performance by Temasek Polytechnic :)

The poor dancers came out too early and had to pose for a long time.

They were smart though and switched poses together, so it looked like it was meant to lol.

They had a Hairspray performance!

They had students from ITE performing Hairspray! It was really energetic and lively :)

I loved their costumes lol the polka dot dresses are awesome hehe.

After the programme ended, we clambered onto the stage for photo ops!
I don't have the group photo, I'll get it from the others and post it here! hehe.

After that, Clare and I headed to the Indoor Sports Hall to check out the competition site.

Couple of photos for Visual Merchandising

I was really piqued by the Visual Merchandising competition, it looked really interesting!

They had mannequins there and everyone was hard at work drawing and colouring and googling images hehe.

We weren't allowed to enter the site because, duh it's a competition site.

But we were able to see what they were doing at the side!

I saw the sites for Caring, Electronics, Visual Merchandising, and... the logos at the top lol.

There was a really cool display at the entrance, I have no idea what it is but it's like a jellyfish~

I think it's a really cool invention!

After having lunch, we headed back to our rooms to blog.

So I changed out of my clothes.

I left the room for a while and met the mascots!
