Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee review

Went to Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee in Singapore (haha, nope I did not drive 4 hours to KL for this) for lunch on Monday.
Thanks Charles for suggesting and sending all 7 of us there! Haha taking his car is similar to taking a roller coaster.
It was even more hilarious than usual cos he wasn't sure how to get there, and Terry's GPS kept telling him it was a 4 hour drive (hence the earlier joke in front) and everyone started joking saying that they didn't bring their passports out for lunch.

We arrived at around 12:15pm and we were lucky cos we didn't have to wait for a table (there were 10 of us) but we did manage to snap up the last remaining table lol. So, luck?
Here's a photo of the noodles (only one photo cos I was HUNGRY and couldnt be bothered to do artsy fartsy shots HAHA)

You can add the chilli flakes as much or as little as you like, which is what I love about this. Usually when places have famous food you have to eat it as it is, and the name itself has the name "chilli" in it, and I have extremely low tolerance for it (I'm sorry Chinese ancestors, I've failed you as a Chinese haha)

The noodles were yummy, but the crowning glory was indeed the chilli flakes. I added a little, and it was awesome, and (not for the first time) I lamented my suckiness at eating chilli. The chilli flakes melt in your mouth, I kid you not.
And the fact that there's a poached egg makes it different from the usual ban mian sold in Singapore, which is usually served with a soup base. We also ordered the fishball soup (not pictured), which is surprisingly delicious! The fishballs were larger than normal, so you'd expect it to be more dense and tougher than the regular sized meatballs, but they weren't! The meat was tender and just perfect. (Yes I sound like Goldilocks lol)
The soup was also delicious, but in recently, whenever I taste nice tasting clear soup, I'd drink and then suspect how much MSG actually went into the soup, and then I won't finish it. :( Sigh.

Verdict: 4/5

Introducing my "How-long-I'll-wait" meter (HLIW) HAHAHA. This meter tells you how long I think is the max that you should wait for food. If it's any longer, you shouldn't wait, because it's not worth the wait.

Post-CNY

Look at how many fo?nts I downloaded lol

Post-CNY = Internship ending.
I can still recall doing my first post about internship starting.
Being so fascinated with the office environment. And the iPad. HAHA.
The iPad was really the best thing about internship, I could do work on it without turning on my laptop! (at home that is)

Tomorrow marks the last day of my internship.
I've gotten used to waking up at 6am daily (well I snooze the alarm a lot more too haha)
I've gotten used to eating 3 meals a day, gotten used to wearing long skirts...
Haha, I've gotten used to work.

I'm applying for universities and jobs, honestly I don't know where I want to go in life.
Should I apply for a job that doesn't involve a 9 - 5 routine?
Or a mundane one where I relax my brain? I don't know.
I actually like doing retail. As a part-time job, not a full-time one.
I think it's fun.
But Idk if I should use this few months to gain experience in the field I want to work in.
Sigh. I honestly don't know.
There're so many things we're supposed to accomplish as we head into our twenties.
I don't want to. Can I stay as a child and just collect angpaos? :)

Met up with Vinc and Ain on Friday night.
I fell asleep and got woken up by their call, lol.
Thanks guys for waking me up! :)
We headed to Thompson, (haha Vinc didn't know how to spell Thompson :P)
Had ba chor mee and salted caramel ice-cream!
Finally visited Eunice at work hehe.

Grabbed from Ain's Instagram, Strawberry & Peanut Butter ice-cream is delish!
I'm so going back for the dark chocolate!
This was CNY Day 1's outfit of the day!
Dress: Agneselle/ Shrug: Cotton On/ Heels: Zekko/ Bag: Kate Spade

Reunion Dinner day, taken with Baby Alyssa!
This was an extremely hard photo to get, usually she's fidgety and jumping everywhere.

One last random photoset, since this post is nothing but random hehe.
Custom Kicks by China Glaze and my own splatter design :)

The toilet sign at work! It's a unisex toilet, so the guy and girl is holding hands! Haha.
Happy V-day, y-all! :)
