Spring Awakening!

Spring Awakening Singapore!

I went to catch my first (paid-for-by-myself haha) musical on the 23rd of February 2012!

Was recommended by BFFL, and I didn't get to catch Wicked, but after this musical, I am SO going to watch Wicked!

Just need to save up for it first! Gonna try to get Class A tickets! :)

Anyhoo, I went with Ming, Esther, Charmian, Kelvin, and Daniel!
It was held at the National Library! (at Bugis, if you don't know where that is, and shame on you! :P)
I WAS THE EARLIEST! MUAHAHAHA
I reached home at 5.55PM and left my house at 6.10PM!
THANK YOU DADDY!
For once I was able to call people and ask them where they were! LOL
Obviously, I'm #foreverlate.
For ONCE, I was early!
However, in the middle of being proud and calling people, I forgot to tell my dad I was meeting the overachievers (yes that's my name of this clique) at Bugis MRT, and he dropped me at the National Library.
Which would be great if anyone was on time.
But no one was. LOL.
So I walked back. (HAHA)
Met up with them, and after grabbing some snacks, headed over!

Set of Spring Awakening!

We got Cat 1 tickets, and the play was awesome!
It was marred by the fact that there was this infamous, i won't say uncouth social media guy sitting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
They should have charged him extra for his hair I SWEAR.
Kept blocking my view of the stage!
One minute left, one minute to the right!
The only good thing was that he started to slide down in his seat after a while, I think he was bored.
He perked right up at the kissing part! Haha!
It was funny and sad and annoying at the same time!
I shall not rant anymore now, PRMP is calling me.
But know that I was very disgruntled that day.
Please, stop moving around in your seat during a play!
It's VERY distracting + obscures my view of the stage!
I paid the same price as you, I don't see why I have to suffer the indignity of watching the play THROUGH YOUR OVERLY STYLED HAIR.

I absolutely loved Adrian Pang's speech at the end!
He was absolutely awesome. Hehe, an alliteration.
He has such good stage presence and a way of speaking!
*sighs dreamily*
Wanted to take a picture with him after the show, but he didn't come out :(

We went to the LOOF, a rooftop bar at ODEON TOWERS.
I think that's what it's called, haha.
We received a complimentary beer for each of us there.
We just presented our tickets!
The funniest coincidence was that we were going to head there anyway!
And then Adrian Pang said that there were complimentary drinks there!
More incentive! Haha!

Unfortunately, it was only the House Beers or a juice.
Duh, we chose beers. Haha!
Only Asahi though, I would have liked an Erdinger's. Haha!
Didn't enjoy the taste and gave mine to Daniel,
ordered a peach schnapps with Ming instead.
I think. It was pretty good!
Haha, he knows now! The last time I asked for a recommendation, he ordered a lychee mojito for me AND I HATED IT LOL.
There were seeds in them! SEEDS!
Me no like seeds, thank you very much. HAHA.
This drink was seed-free. lol.

Then we wanted to get supper. Daniel left, his dad came to pick him up.
I would have called mine but it was late, like 12 in the morning and I was at Bugis.
So I took 80 home!
Haha, taking 80 home at midnight is now a joke.
Which friends know, and I'm quite lazy to type out since this has been a surprisingly long post!
Considering it was just the night.

Oh, did I mention, we had a Media Law and Ethics paper in the day.
Horrible.
When the actors sang "Fuck this, fuck you..." I told Esther that they were singing about my law paper! Haha!

Went home to a very happy parcel!

I shall blog about them properly after the exams, they deserve a proper post.
But for now...

Hehe!
