I'm all hyped up for this specific blog post for two reasons!
The first is because the previous one was so sad...
And the second and main reason is because.... I'm invited to cover the WorldSkills Singapore Competition 2012!
Let me bring you in the loop on what WorldSkills is all about! Hehe.

The participants can be either from a secondary school, junior college, polytechnic, companies, or other institutions of higher learning, as long as they are not above the age of 22!
Simple right? Essentially anyone who is skilled at one of the following categories can take part!!!
The Skills are:
This prestigious event is held over a period of 3 days, 5 - 7 July 2012 at ITE College West. A relatively new campus, it is able to house 16 out of the 19 skill competitions!
And did you know that the campus has a hotel on site?
Not a HoStel. A Hotel.
It looked pretty luxurious to me when I attended the briefing, unfortunately I didn't get the chance to snap any photos!
I'll be going with my friend Clare from C4SM, and together we'll bring you live updates on the competition!
You can check out my twitter here for more details throughout the 3 days!
I'm hoping that Clare will pass her TP on the 2nd of July so that she can drive me to the campus! Lol.
Please pass! :)
We're allowed full access to the amenities the campus offers, essentially the gym and the pool are available! YAY!
WorldSkills is very kindly letting us check in a day earlier on the 4th because the opening ceremony is at 9am on the next day and it would be a hassle to check in then.
Thank you!
That's all I have for now.
More information can be found on their official site at http://www.ite.edu.sg/wss/
Their official Facebook page is here.
Remember, I'm a tweetgirl. Check out @prettybitesized for the 411 on WorldSkills!
