Shopping! (who doesn't love retail therapy?)

So I've decided to highlight some of the blogshops I frequent, because mostly I think they deserve a shout-out.

(and also, most of the people there are extremely friendly!!!)

Mostly, I'm gonna be recommending blog shops, cos that's where I've been shopping the past few months hehehehehe.
Singapore blog shops have evolved so much, and thanks to the Internet, anyone with capital and time can start one.
The biggest worry you have is that you can't wear the item that arrived in your mail.
Remember, before you start shopping, have a measuring tape handy to ensure your fit!

Recommendation!
What I recommend is to measure an article of clothing you already own, and can wear it nicely.
THEN compare it to the measurements they provide. Some girls (okay, me lah) have curves, and these models are like bamboos. Unless you also can fly away with the wind (nothing against you, just jealousy sigh), then better give and take the length of dresses especially, as they tend to be shorter for curvy girls.

I think blog shops are great cos they are extremely affordable.
Not that physical shops aren't, but blog shops tend to be cheaper because there is no rental for them to store their inventory! *this may not apply for all as some do expand and take on storefronts, but that's a whole other story*
I have no idea how I diverged from the topic lol, but the following are the blogshops that I frequent the most:

I rate these 3 online stores with ✓✓✓✓✓.
You will realize that the items on these blogshops rarely go above SGD30, which is great for guilt-free shopping! Plus the ladies are extremely friendly and understanding if you check out wrongly or change your mind about an item colour, etc!
Therefore, Affordability + Cus Svc = ✓✓✓✓✓ !

And since trends change so quickly (remember when cosmic and aztec prints were so popular?), generally you wouldn't want to spend so much on an article of clothing when it would go out of trend quickly.

Openflea

If you recall a few months back, I won a $100 H&M voucher from this blogshop!
How openflea differs from the others is that they reach out to a few different independent stores, then combine them all together to sell at a lower price!
You have to be on the mailing list to know when the sales are.

I definitely shop at others' too, but these are the best stores, and I'll only recommend the best to share hehe.

In terms of accessories, flea markets are the best, I'd think, for oversized jewelry.
I don't buy from blogshops for accessories as I'm worried about the delivery. I bought a ring online once and it cracked :'(
The blogshop owner did give me a refund, but it was extremely disappointing as I loved the ring design.
Also, buying it at a physical store ensures that you can wear it!

If not, you can check out Mirsh-d! You'll def heap thanks on me. They are a store selling charm bracelets at EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE PRICES. Prices depend on the number of charms you have, but a pretty charm bracelet can cost as little as SGD3!!!!! The cheapest charm costs SGD0.50!!!

For shoes, Charles & Keith is really your best option for durable and lasting shoes. They are not as affordable as they used to be, but the quality is there!!
I bought the wedges I've worn (gone to USS in them, drinking, jumping etc) for a year already.
Apart from scratches and smudges, they're (mostly) intact! HAHA.
I bought them at SGD55.90 but I feel that they are worth it!
